Light sources – a nominal 20,000 hours lifetime
MIVA equipment use Quad Wavelength Semiconductor light sources for exposure optimisation. Multi-head systems are available for increased productivity and light sources have a nominal lifetime of 20,000 hours.

In the graphics industry, postscript compatibility makes the plotter a useful tool for silkscreen masks for printing applications. Fine line artwork and Precision graphics
MIVA imagers have one of the smallest spot sizes available on the market (0.8 microns minimum), capable of producing extremely fine lines of high quality and with consistency. The positioning accuracy of all MIVA imagers is controlled by linear positioning encoders within a closed-loop system, ensuring accurate pattern positioning over the whole plot area.
